Although British, ‘I went to Wall Street in 1988’. My fascination with that complex ecosystem of news, ideas, personalities and the law endures and during that 35 years I have done every job imaginable at some amazing houses. Research analyst, Sales and Investment Manager have all added their stamp to a broad appreciation of what matters and what is noise.

Over that span of time I have seen the ‘New and Shiny’ come and go….seen super cycles, fraud, Boom and Bust and every nuance of ‘Spin’ and artifice known to man.

There is much that is new…..and much that is not, and an endless fascination with the flow of news and information, the personalities and the history…..is what keeps me as engaged today as I ever was. I have been lucky enough to work with the truly great and be present at events that changed how the world works today. Technology is my core sector but over the years at any given time I have been knee deep in everything else…..Industrials, Financials, Healthcare etc….so nothing is off limits. The views are my own.
